The AI Builders Program

Twelve weeks, live online. You learn to create, publish, and run real applications with AI, then turn that ability into income as a freelancer, a business consultant, or a developer. No tech background required. Our principle is human in the loop: AI does the work, you control the flow and lead the way.

Founding Cohort $3,995 · A small founding cohort, applications reviewed in order received · $500 refundable deposit · Three payment plan available

AI consultants in Canada average around $90,000 a year. Market average from Canadian salary data, not a guarantee of income; individual outcomes vary.

How it works

One arc, run twice: create, publish, maintain.

Most courses teach you about AI. This one makes you ship with it. You build two real applications during the program, put them live on the internet, and learn what it takes to keep them running, then you learn how people get paid for exactly that.

You ship real work

Both applications go live, with real users and real feedback. Your portfolio at graduation is not screenshots; it is links that work.

The schedule bends to the cohort

Live sessions run about 9 hours per week, evenings and weekends on Pacific time. Your application tells us your convenient times, and the majority sets the timetable.

Income is part of the curriculum

Marketing, customer management, pricing, and the consulting method our own consultants use with businesses. Skills without a way to earn from them are a hobby.

The curriculum

Twelve weeks, week by week.

Phase one

Foundations

How the web and AI actually work, plus the hands on craft skills that make builders employable: markup, design, and judgment. AI does the work; you learn to control the flow.

Week 1

How the web works, and where AI fits

Domains, hosting, websites, applications, and data, in plain language. The AI capability map: what it does well, where it fails, and the human in the loop principle that runs through everything we build.

Week 2

HTML, CSS, and enough JavaScript

You do not need to be a programmer, but you do need to read and shape what AI writes. The working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript that turns AI output into something you command.

Week 3

Design and UX fundamentals

Figma, Canva, and Photoshop essentials, plus the UX principles that separate professional work from templates: hierarchy, spacing, contrast, and designing for the person on the other side.

Week 4

The tool stack, prompts, and workflows

Hands on with AI assistants, builders, and automation. From single prompts to reusable workflows: structure, evaluation habits, and the judgment to direct AI rather than just use it.

Phase two

Create, publish, maintain

Two real applications, built and shipped. The first guided, the second yours.

Weeks 5 to 6

Build one: the guided application

The whole cohort designs, builds, and publishes the same application together: design in Figma, build with AI, domain, deployment, live on the internet by the end of week 6.

Week 7

Maintenance is the real skill

Updates, backups, monitoring, fixing what breaks, and handling user feedback. What separates builders from tutorial followers.

Week 8

Build two: your application

Your own project, your own users in mind, shipped live with support from instructors and the cohort. This becomes the heart of your portfolio.

Phase three

Turn it into income

The business of building: how freelancers, consultants, and developers actually get paid.

Week 9

Marketing what you build

Positioning, a portfolio site that converts, search presence, and content that brings customers. You apply all of it to your own shipped work.

Week 10

Customers and money

Finding clients, pricing with confidence, proposals, payment, and the customer management systems that keep income steady.

Week 11

The consulting method

The six question diagnostic our consultants use inside real businesses: map processes, find friction, name causes, match AI, prove value.

Week 12

Capstone and career routing

Present your shipped work. Career routing into your exit: freelance launch plan, consulting team interviews for the strongest graduates, or developer portfolio review.

You graduate with shipped work, not just a certificate.

The details

Fall 2026 Founding Cohort

Dates

September 15 to early December 2026. Twelve weeks, roughly 9 hours per week.

Format

Live online on Pacific time, evenings and weekends. Recordings available if you miss a session. Timetable set with the cohort.

Price

Founding Cohort $3,995. $500 refundable deposit holds your seat; balance at start, three payment plan available at no extra fee.

Seats

A deliberately small founding cohort; seats are limited and applications are reviewed in order received. Based in Chilliwack, BC. Open to students across BC and Canada.

Founding Cohort means the lowest price this program will ever have. In exchange, you become our proof: your outcomes, honestly reported, are how we earn the next cohort. Many Canadian credit cards also let you convert tuition into monthly installments through your bank.

Every tool is included for the 12 weeks: Claude AI, your own lampstand.school email, Figma, Canva, and Adobe Photoshop during the design phase. After graduation, you take over your own subscriptions, and module 8 teaches you exactly what your working stack should cost.

Questions

What applicants ask us

Do I need a tech background?

No. The program starts from zero and is built for career changers with business or people skills. If you can run a spreadsheet and hold a conversation, you can learn to build with AI.

What exactly will I build?

Two real applications. The first is a guided build the whole cohort ships together. The second is your own: your idea, your users, live on the internet, maintained by you with our support.

What tools do I need to buy?

None. Claude AI, a lampstand.school email, Figma, Canva, and Adobe Photoshop during the design phase are all included for the 12 weeks. You supply a computer and internet. After graduation you fund your own tools, and we teach you what a working stack should cost before you leave.

How much time do I need each week?

About 9 hours of live sessions plus project time that varies by week and ambition. The program is designed for people who are working full time.

Will I get a job after?

The honest answer: nobody can guarantee employment, and be wary of schools that do. We train you on real shipped work, route you toward one of three income paths, hire the strongest graduates into our own consulting team, and publish real outcomes from every cohort.

Is the fee refundable?

The $500 deposit is refundable until two weeks before the start date. Full refund terms are stated plainly in the enrolment agreement before you pay anything.

A small founding cohort, reviewed in order received. September 15. The lowest price this program will ever have.
